The grouping tool allows you to select objects you want to link so that they move together. An transparent orange shape will show where objects will move when you hover over of the dots and a red ghost grid will represent the plane associated with that dot. Then use your selection box to highlight the object you want to align. Select the align tool from the main menu. Select any manipulator square (found along corners, faces, and edges) and drag it in the direction you want to scale your object. Non-uniform scale can be quite useful for curved objects (ex.
